"Over the field an eerie sound, as we hear the ravens cry".

A piece of manipulation with a deeper meaning. Therefore categorized as emotional. Do your own interpretation of this.
Personally I've got several, but it's up to you.

Greatly inspired by Amon Amarth's song Cry of the Black Birds and the mood it puts me in. The title, and above quotation is from the last line of the song.

The rest is pure photoshopness. Smuding out the sky, making funky transition with the patch tool. And fiftythousandbillion adjustment layers. Oh, and the Blurtool.

wow. before i read the comments, i thought this was a photograph! I wish i was that good on photoshop! great job :)

this may sound cheesy, but my interpretation of this peice is this: I think that the feild is like the boy's life; a long journey; The cloudy skies could represent the uncertainty of the life ahead of him, and he doesn't really know what will come; the crows/ravens could represent obstacles in his life, pestering him all the time he is trying to get through life, always following him.

Well thank you :)

Must precisize that the cloudy skies aren't actually really cloudy.

Not gonna comment on your interpretation, as I will keep it a personal matter.
